We Make Good
We were tasked with creating something from decommissioned firehose material.
While working through COVID19, we created two digital routes for this material.
This was a project in collaboration with We Make Good and on a team with George Paton.

Laptoop sleeve
The sleeve was created to have folds overlapping and creating a simple form from the split firehose which as Nylon mesh exposed.

We chose simple colours to accent the powerful reds and pinks of the firehose. We selected a blue edgecoat finish to compliment the blue in the We Make Good logo.

We invisioned the sleeve to be slim, waterproof and durable as those are the properties of the firehose itself.

The outdoor backpack was a secondary piece we decided to create

We invisioned a heavyduty piece using the full thicknedd of the firehose to be used in the panelling alongside waterproof zippers and Nylon meshing to create a breathable aspect.
